How to do the Barbell Seated Calf Raise

Primary: Calves.

The Barbell Seated Calf Raise is an isolation exercise that helps in building strength and size in the calf muscles, particularly the soleus muscle. The exercise is performed while seated, typically using a barbell and a seated calf raise machine or bench, which allows you to target the calves effectively with additional weight resistance. It’s an excellent exercise for developing lower leg strength and muscular definition.
